Help The Peoples Station 107 Jamz Collect Shoes For The Needy This Winter

Join The Peoples Station 107 Jamz as we collect shoes for those in need this Fall.  We are teaming up with blackcelebritygiving.com by joining the cause of to collect 20,000 pairs of shoes or more for "The Sole Drive".  Christmas is just a couple of weeks away and if you've been struggling with gift ideas.....we've got one for you!

If your like me, you love shoes and have a bunch of them.  I'm sure if we look, we will find several pair we're not wearing and probably will never wear.  Now is yours and my chance to donate them to people who not only want them, but need them.  So, please go in your closet and encourage others to do the same and drop off your lightly used or new shoes here to our studios.  107 Jamz is located at 900 N. Lakeshore Drive Lake Charles, La. and will collect shoes from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday until November 30th.

If your not in the Lake Charles area, you can mail your shoe donations to BCG 5025 N. Central Ave. Suite 271 Phoenix, AZ 85012 C/O The Sole Drive.  By the way, if you send more than 10 pair, BCG will pay for the shipping!  If you would like to host a designated drop-off location, know of homeless shelters and programs interested in becoming beneficiaries of the drive, to find a shoe drop-off location in your area or want more information contact Jasmine Crowe at jasmine@blackcelebritygiving.com

Port Arthur's own rapper Bun B has been named this years Sole Drive ambassador, and said "As much as I love shoes, it doesn't hold a candle to the love I have for the people of this world, especially those who can't necessarily help themselves.  Partnering with Sole Drive makes nothing but good sense to me. I'm proud to be a part of this movement."  That said, if your in the H-Town area shoes can be dropped off in Houston at the North and South side locations of SF2 retail stores.
