Today in Tha Wire over the Christmas holidays Hollywood lost two entertainers unexpectedly.  First British Pop music legend George Michael, from the 80's group Wham! Best known for tracks like; "Freedom," "I Want Your Sex," "I knew You Were Waiting (For Me)" featuring Aretha Franklin, "Careless Whisper" and countless other hits.  According to reports the singer died suddenly and peacefully at his home in England, on Christmas Day.  He was only 53.

A police statement said: “Thames Valley Police were called to a property in Goring-on-Thames shortly before 2 p.m. Christmas Day. Sadly, a 53-year-old man was confirmed deceased at the scene. At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.”

As for a cause of death, his manager, Michael Lippman, told The Hollywood Reporter that the singer died of heart failure, “in bed, lying peacefully.”  Micheal had plans of dropping a reissued version of his 2nd album, Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1, along with a documentary called, “Freedom.” The album/biopic combo was scheduled for a 2017 release and meant to celebrate his career, by giving fans a look at his musical, personal and legal struggles along the way.

Monday December 26, 2016 tragedy truck again.  Beloved actor/comedian, Ricky Harris passed away suddenly.  According to the news Harris passed do to a heart attack, but it's unclear as to what led up to his untimely death.  There are very little details on whether he had been sick or if it just happened.  He was only 54.

His loss is being felt all over the country as countless stars took to social media to offer thoughts and condolences.  Among them are his closest friends like Eddie Griffin, Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg, whom Harris starred along with in Murder Was The Case.

Ricky Harris was a great talent starring in TV roles on Moesha and Everybody Hates Chris, to movies blockbusters like, Poetic Justice, This Christmas and Dope.  Robin Thicke just buried his father, TV superstar, Alan Thicke, who also passed suddenly of a heart attack December 13.  The star collapsed while playing hockey with his son Carter.
