Update: Homicide In South Lake Charles Under Investigation By CPSO, Mugshot Released

A mugshot has been released for the man charged with the 2nd degree murder of Felton P. Boutte on yesterday (Feb. 6th).
Judge Robert Wyatt has set Johnathan J. Guillory’s bond at $500,000.

CPSO responded to a shooting in South Lake Charles, at 2500 Smith Road.
According to authorities, 43-year-old Felton P. Boutte got into a verbal altercation with 27-year-old Johnathan J. Guillory, and things turned for the worst when Guillory shot and killed Boutte.
Guillory fled the scene after the shooting but was apprehended a while later by Sheriff deputies. He has been arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. Guillory is expected to be charged with 2nd degree murder.
