The National Hurricane Museum and Science Center has teamed up with the city of Lake Charles, Calcasieu and Cameron Parish for the Hurricane Awareness Day. It all takes place on Saturday September 26th beginning at 7:30 am and going until 3:30 pm.

While this event is very informative. It also serves as an honoring for emergency first responders and volunteers. This event will also include family educational exibits and hands on demonstrations, kid's zone and One Mile fun runs. Plenty of great food, music and so much more.

Don't miss this great event as we are in the heart of Hurricane Alley. It's great to get all of the information that we need and you can RSVP on Facebook or visit NHMSC.com for more details.
