This past weekend was a nice little getaway for my wife and I. We headed to Beaumont this past Saturday to check out funnyman Chris Tucker who not only killed but showed that he has not missed a beat.

The show kicked off with comedian Terry Hodges who brought some quick one liners that had the audience on the floor. While he did do a little clowning on people as they walked in, he gave a routine that had the stakes high for Chris when he hit the stage.

Terry Hodges on stage:

After the show I had the chance to go and meet Chris backstage and the guy was a stand up type of guy and  was very cordial with some of the contest winners as well as myself. The great thing about it was that we did an interview the day before where we talked about his new standup comedy special and movie on the way. He remembered the conversation and took the time to talk about a few other things as well. I can honestly say if the Chris Tucker Live concert comes your way, you should make it a point to grab a ticket and prepare to laugh. You will get nothing less then about an hour and a half of pure comedy from tax problems to speeding tickets.
