Rapper iHeart Memphis is making waves with his dance craze and song “Hit the Quan,” but he’s facing some serious charges in his beloved hometown of Memphis. The young rhymer is accused of gang raping a woman.

According to WREG News, iHeart Memphis, whose real name is Richard Colbert, was charged with aggravated rape along with another man. Police claim that Memphis and his accomplice allegedly raped a woman who was under the influence inside a home back in May. Police are looking for a third suspect, a woman between the ages of 18 and 23 years old.

iHeart Memphis denies raping the woman. "I was at the wrong place, wrong time, and my name got caught up in something," he told WREG. He also plans to fight the charge and added that he won’t let his legal situation stop him from making music.

iHeart Memphis' song "Hit the Quan" is a major hit in the clubs and the dance craze, which pokes fun at Rich Homie Quan's unique dancing style, has moved fans in creating their own fun dance videos.

Reps for iHeart Memphis had no comment on the matter.
