Finally, another new reality show is comin to TV. Hip-Hop DX reports the late ODB's estate and family is prepping a new reality show and other projects including a new management deal with Four Screen Productions.
Company president Messiah Jacobs said at press time the new deals will be aimed at keeping the Wu-Tang Clan rapper's memory alive, adding. "Although his life was cut short, there is still more work to do. His fans want to see more and hear more, and with Four Screens’ creative background, the Estate can give them just that." Sadly, ODB died three days before his 36th birthday of an accidental drug overdose in 2004.
On a much brighter note, ODB”S widow, Icelene Jones, approves of the work that Four Screens has done for the estate thus far saying, "Since working with Messiah, the estate has really seen growth. “Four Screens is a company that makes things happen. We wanted to create a reality show and we are doing it. We wanted to have an ODB hologram at Rock the Bells and we did it. We wanted my son Young Dirty to perform there and he did. Messiah and his team make it happen and that is what this estate is about."
There’s no doubt that "Dirt McGirt" or as he was also affectionately known "Big Baby Jesus" was easily the most colorful, unpredictable and publicly outspoken member of the Wu bunch. Now with efforts centered around preserving his memory, his legacy will live on for his fans.
