Is Jussie Smollett Really Leaving ‘Empire’?

Today in Tha Wire, I've never been so shocked about a TV episode ending the way FOX wrapped-up Empire last night. If you missed last night’s episode, leading up to the season finale, I hate to be a spoiler, but Jamal got shot! On top of that, it's looking like he ain't gonna make it. WT??? You mean to tell me, Jussie Smollett, one of Empire's biggest stars is getting ready to die???

FOX was wrong for that. All jokes aside. Are they really written Jamal our of the script? Unfortunately this

may very well be the end of Jussie's character. Immediately after the shocking episode aired the actor took to

Twitter and dropped this tweet:

Say it ain't so!?!? Is this for real or is this the networks way to keep everyone on pins and needles till the next and final episode of season 2? HipHollywood reached out to Jussie camp to find out, but they haven't heard back yet. Of course I'll be keeping my ears to the street and if any new chatter comes up, I'll bring you the scoop.
