Today in Tha Wire as the custody battle for his daughter Shayla rages on... is it possible that singer/actor, Tyrese Gibson is secretly battling something else? His ex-wife seems to think so, and now she wants to court to give him a psychic evaluation. The Daily Mail reports Norma Mitchell Gibson, says there's something seriously wrong with the star. She has reportedly filed for a permanent restraining order, citing 'he's violated the temporary order by posting videos talking about 10-year-old Shayla.'

Tyrese is obviously going through it right now. He's been somewhat of an emotional wreck the past few weeks. From picking a fight with The Rock and accusing him of delaying the Fast9 2018 premiere, calling him a sellout for taking a deal to star in the spinoff Hobbs, to threatening not to work with him again.

As for the more recent videos the star posted, he's gone from crippin by the pool, to twerking, crying and crying some more. It's safe to say this brotha is having an emotional meltdown. There's certainly nothing funny about it either. Unfortunately, the videos Tyrese has posted all over social media are being used against him. TMZ reports the former Mrs. Gibson's attorney, Aleen Khanjian, said in court Tuesday (Nov. 14, 2017) this week that the 38-year old R&B singer is unstable.

As no surprise the lawyer pointed to his 'recent, and bizarre actions' being displayed all over the internet. Khanjian then demanded that Tyrese have a court-appointed 'mental evaluation.' Now it's in a judge's hands as to whether or not that will happen. The question at this point is, should Tyrese Gibson really get one? Is he suffering from mental illness? Keepin it 100, anything is possible. The fact is, everyone is at risk for mental illness. If something is wrong with the star, I truly hope he gets the help he needs. At the same time, I really hope that's not the case.

Irregardless, his ex and her legal team are trying to prove he's cra-cra. So if the brotha's good, and he wants any chance of keeping his daughter, he better chill with those videos. We wish him and his family the best. In the meantime, I'll keep you posted on any further details on this story.
