J. Cole a very happy birthday. The North Carolina MC turns 31 today and celebrating by giving his fans the gift of music.
AllHipHop reports Cole took to
Twitter last night at about 10 p.m. to announced he's dropping the live version to his Grammy nominated and #1 2014 album, 

J. Cole's Forest Hills Drive Live was recorded during his show at the Crown Coliseum in his hometown, Fayetteville, N.C., last year.  It's also the same performance that was featured in his HBO documentary, Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming.  The doc aired January 9, 2016 and chronicled his early life, what inspired him to rap, his career in the making and more importantly the last house he grew up in 2014, Forest Hills Drive.

The rest as they say is history and gave birth to his debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story (2011). Peep the videos below, take the tour of Coles childhood home and the doc trailer as well.

By the way, congrats to Cole on his marriage to his longtime love Melissa Heholt.  The rapper revealed or rather confirmed he was married, when Creed movie director, Ryan Coogler, accidentally spilled the beans during a recent interview.  Cole and Heholt met in college 10-years ago and been together ever since.  They got engaged last year and recently tied the knot.
