According to TMZ, a perfume company is suing Jay Z for $18 million for breach of contract.

Parlux Fragrances is suing Hov citing the "New York" rapper didn't uphold his end of their deal. The company claims it secured a licensing deal to launch Gold Jay Z in 2013, with the rapper/business moguls name and image set to be used to help promote the fragrance, and eventually follow up with additional scents.

Parlux claims that not only did Jay Z not publicize the fragrance via his social media, but he did not show up for scheduled appearances with Good Morning America nor Macy's.

The company was expecting to earn a projected $50 million within two years, but have yet to make a profit. The company has continued to take a loss, where as stores are also returning the unsold inventory.

Jay Z or anyone from his camp have not responded to the accusations.
