Today in Tha Wire the NFL’s Thursday Night Football gets some swag, Ciara and Future reconcile and singer Blu Cantrell is hospitalized.

CBS is home to the NFL’s Thursday Night Football and pulling out all the stops by getting Jay Z, Rihanna and Don Cheadle to join forces for the NFL’s Thursday Night Football intro.  Jigga’s 2009 hit “Run This Town” will serve as the theme song for the primetime telecast. Of course Jay and Rihanna will hold down the vocals for the opening sequence, while Cheadle will be the weekly narrator for each game.

The three stars bring some serious swag to the Thursday Night Football  intro video, which by was produced and directed by 28-time Emmy Award-winning producer Pete Radovich.  Radovich said of video,

“This open combines one of music’s biggest stars with one of the most dynamic actors in Hollywood. The energy that both talents provide gives the opening to every Thursday night the big-game, primetime feel it deserves.  It is a dream scenario for any director.”

The Thursday Night Football schedule kicks off September 11 on CBS where the Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Baltimore Ravens. For even more details listen to Tha Wire below.

In other news, best known for her 2001 smash “Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!)”, Singer-songwriter Blu Cantrell was taken to a hospital earlier this week.

Allhiphop reports the singer was discovered running through her Santa Monica neighborhood around 2 Tuesday morning, screaming about being poisoned by gas.  The singer was apparently loud enough to disturb her neighbors and according to TMZ police were eventually called out to the scene.

Listen to Tha Wire below to learn what happened next.  Finally, if reports are accurate, Ciara and Future are back together.  Sources tell TMZ the couple reconciled for the sake of their 4-month-old son, Future Zahir Wilburn.  BET reports Ciara wasn't feeling the idea of splitting custody anyway, and decided to give Future another chance because he’s a good father.

Future and Ciara never officially acknowledged the cheating rumor or their break-up.  However, CiCi real vocal about US Weekly Magazine’s "manipulating" her words and sensationalizing her alleged interview with them.  The singer blasted the magazine on Twitter and they fired back by releasing the audio from the interview.
