Jeezy details why he didn’t bond out last week when he was arrested along with several people in his entourage after a concert on the Under the Influence of Music Tour, as well as not wanting his son to be a rapper. The ATL rapper also compared being a rapper to being a civil rights leader like Martin and Malcolm.

Jeezy was arrested on Aug. 24th in California, for gun possession (assault rifle). The ’Seen It All’ rapper didn’t post bail until four days later (Aug. 28th), because he refused to leave without the others who were also arrested. That’s some some loyalty right there!

They detained two of my bus drivers. One of which was a 50-something year old lady. My cameraman or whatever. I’m such a real person and I know we were there in the right. I felt I couldn’t leave them there. When I stepped in the door, I had bailsmen right there. I just made it clear that when I leave, we leave together. Point blank period. - Jeezy
