So the Joshua Ledet reign came to an end on "American Idol," but its just beginning for him nationally. Joshua was loved by so many -- and not only here in Louisiana. We probably got about 10- 15 calls during the week from Idaho, Michigan, Texas and so many other states from people wanting to get those team Josh T-shirts and show their support for Joshua!

Now although it is pretty sad to see him go, let me throw something at you for a minute. I am not a superstitious person, but it seems to me like the winners of American Idol really only shine for the moment.

Now there are a few exceptions like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, but what about Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, Taylor Hicks?  A lot of these guys can't buy a hit now if they wanted to. The talent is still there, but it seems as if their star has just gone out -- where on the other hand, runners-up like Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson and Adam Lambert are doing so much better career-wise. This leads me to believe that without a shadow of a doubt, Joshua Ledet will be fine.

He's had so many watching and cheering him on from the likes of Mary J. Blige, Jimmy Iovine and so many more. Don't feel bad for Joshua, because I am willing to bet that after the tour, he will be releasing something really nice to hold over all of his fans. The big question is when he does release his own music, will you go and support it? I know that I will, and I can speak for a few more of my family members here at 107 JAMZ as well. Good luck Josh -- and you really are our American Idol!

Here he is doing "No More Drama" -- who else but Joshua can take this song to CHURCH!
