Joshua Ledet Makes Top 7, Plus See His Duet With Jessica Sanchez, “I Knew You Were Waiting” [VIDEO]
I must say Joshua has become a bonafied superstar. He becomes more and more polished as each show airs. You can tell he's really growing as a national performer. I'm so happy that he made it to the next level! American Idol's top 7! Wow!Competition is getting tight and it's only going to get more competitive from here. I have no doubt that Joshua can handle the pressure. You did good everybody!!!! Together, we got him through. Next week, we'll do it all over again!
Tonight, American Idol said goodbye to Deandre Brackensick. Apparently, American wasn't feeling his rendition of Debarges' "I Like It". Jennifer Lopez told him that she was outvoted by Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson to use the judges' one-time-only ability to save him. She said "I only get one vote. I'm sorry. We're not saving you tonight."
Before his last-chance performance of Stevie Wonder's "Master Blaster," Deandre was joined in the show's bottom three by rockin' 28-year-old teacher Elise Testone, of Charleston, S.C., and booming 18-year-old vocalist Hollie Cavanagh of McKinney, Texas, whom seemed more likely to be eliminated after receiving the judges' harshest criticism on Wednesday.
None the less, we wish you the best Deandre! On a brighter note, everyone is saying if America get's it right, Joshua and Jessica will be the last to standing. Even the judges said it. By the way, remember you can buy all of Joshua's music on iTunes. Make sure you support him that way as well.
Finally, the duet of the year was when Joshua and Jessica teamed up to do George Michael and Aretha Franklin's "I knew You Were Waiting". They straight up killed it! Missed it?
Here they are again! Enjoy!
