Just in Time For Christmas Nike Unveils Their “Christmas Pack” 2013 Sneakers — Tha Wire [VIDEO]

For all you sneakerheads out there, just in time for the holidays Nike unveiled its 2013 “Christmas Pack” featuring three kicks from the NBA’s LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant. The three kicks include the LeBron 11, Kobe 8 and KD VI — are the perfect stocking stuffer for the sneakerhead in your life. So let’s break them down.

The LeBron 11 comes in a cool mint color with bold red accents and a frosty translucent outsole. The special lace lock is designed as a Christmas ornament. The entire sneaker also boasts snowflakes prints throughout.

The Kobe 8 System features grey snake scales with neon mamba green and chrome gold accents and black a outersole. The lace lock is design as a translucent ornament.

KD 6′s perfectly encompasses the colors of Christmas. The Fair Isle sweater design of trees, stripes, and Kevin Durant’s jersey number 35 is featured throughout the sneaker. Durants kicks feature a red meshed while the outtersole is speckled with mint green and the collar lining is a Christmas-y plaid. The lace lock comes as a mint-green ornament as well.

In other news, Mathew Knowles is back in the news and for all the wrong reasons.  Knowles is denying claims that he's a deadbeat dad.  According to TMZ he's been late a couple of times with child support payments for his son, but on paper it looks like he didn't pay at all.

His baby moma Alexandia Wright is claiming that he owes $24,000, which incidentally is for two months worth of payments, and he's allegedly also already late on December.

Knowles and Wright conceived their son in 2009, during his marriage to Tina Knowles.  On the issue, Ms. Wright released a statement to RadarOnline in August saying she's done everything she can to keep it out of the courts.  Adding, "My family and I have exhausted every non-legal avenue to urge Matthew to be a responsible father and to follow the stipulated judgment we reached together [regarding child support]."

Finally, Lil Wayne’s ex-wife Antonia “Toya” Wright was arrested in Collage Park, Georgia earlier this week. RollingOut.com broke the story that the 30-year was taken into custody for failing to pay outstanding parking tickets and has since been released.

The whole thing was a misunderstanding according Toya’s manager Corey Blackwell, who said,

“[The arrest was] based on something that was paid for but that wasn’t cleared out of the system. We’re currently going over it with the lawyers.”
