Kandi Burruss Is Producing Her First Stage Play — Tha Wire [VIDEO]

Kandi Burruss has proven that she is a woman of many talents.  Girlfriend has her hand in just about everything from music, a hit reality show, sex toy line, her own boutique to now....directing a play based on her life. 

‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ diva and her fiance, Todd Tucker, are launching ‘A Mother’s Love,’ a musical based loosely on her career and the issues with her mother.  At press time, Kandi had this to say about the play “Though things are exaggerated, you will see moments of my life in the musical. Writing ‘A Mother’s Love’ has been therapy for me in many ways. I’ve had to focus and not only co-write the script which is loosely about my life but have also written 20 songs for the play in a very short amount of time which has allowed me to unload a lot of emotions inside of me.”

In other news, Kanye West has never been one to shy away from controversy.  We all know the brotha's has done and said....some shocking things throughout his career.   Speaking of which, he’s at it again and made a rather bold fashion statement recently.

As a matter of fact Kanye turned heads when he wore a Confederate flag jacket while he shopped at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills this week.  No doubt, Kanye was making a statement, beings that Barneys has come under fire for racial profiling.  The rapper has been very vocal about that issue spoken out against the retailer in a recent

Finally, his boy Jay Z has only been a sports agent for six months and he’s already being questioned for his alleged practices.  According to ESPN, Jay in under investigation by the MLB Players Association for giving a Yankees superstar Robinson Cano a $34,000 watch for his birthday.
