Kanye West did the only thing he could do, quietly settle out of court in his now infamous Beverly Hills chiropractor assault case.

Y’all pretty much know what happened, Kanye West went upside the guys head after he shouted obscenities and racial slurs at Kim Kardashian.  Clearly, not the right thing to do. However I don't know any man who would allow another to get in their woman's face, much less cuss her out  and call her names without checking him.

Once it was all said and done, the so-called victim realized he could cash in on Ye's bad judgement.  Speaking of cash, the unnamed bully said he’d rather a cash payout instead of going to court.  After exploring their options, looks like they took the best one.  Settle!

Listen to Tha Wire below and find how much hush money Kanye had to come up with and what's he's lawyers are looking for in return.

Another legal issue that ended up working out, is the fact that Flavor Flav got a break and was granted leniency in his speeding case.  Thanks to a Long Island judge, Hip Hop's  famous hype man was released without bail today after the rapper pleaded not guilty.

That's not all, Flav had to take care of a little something before he left.  Check out Tha Wire below and find out what he did.  Better yet, find out what he said to the Associated Press as he left the courthouse.

Finally, Kendrick Lamar could be upset and insulted after he and several deserving rappers were blatantly snubbed at this year’s Grammy’s.  K-Dot was expected to win big, even though Drake had the one of biggest Hip Hop albums of 2013.  Kendrick was nominated for 7 awards and like Drake, J. Cole, Kanye West, Rick Ross, Wale and everybody else, went home empty handed.

Shockingly enough, Macklemore & Lewis won ALL of the awards in the Hip Hop category and they’re not even considered a true Hip Hop group.  As a matter of fact, they were just as shocked as everybody else.  So much so, that Mack texted Kendrick and apologized saying,"You got robbed.  It's weird and sucks that I robbed you. I was gonna say that during the speech. Then the music started playing during my speech, and I froze. Anyway, you know what it is. Congrats on this year and your music. Appreciate you as an artist and as a friend. Much love."  Then posted a screen shot of the text to his Instagram,

Needless to say, if Kendrick Lamar was irritated, you would never have known it judging from his spectacular performance.  But recently, he broke his silence and responded to the Grammy snub.  The Compton MC told XXL “It’s well deserved” referring to Macklemore’s win and attributed his work ethic, not his race, to his success but also alluded to anticipating future success for himself:

"He did what he did, man. He went out there and hustled and grinded. Everything happens for a reason; the universe comes back around, that’s how it go."
