Any concert goer will tell you that braving the crowds is sometimes a part of the process when it comes to seeing your favorite music act. For Kanye West fans, surviving a crazy concert crowd is basically a rite of passage. But it shouldn't cause you bodily harm.

Video surfaced recently of Kanye West saving a few fans from being seriously hurt at one of his Pablo Tour shows. As the rapper was walking toward the stage, he saw that the balcony barricades of the arena were beginning to break and that a few fans were in danger of falling. Kanye quickly rushed to push the barricades back, telling everyone to back up. Once Ye's security got the fans to move back from the barricades, Kanye walked out of view.

The original video was posted on Instagram six weeks ago by a user named @danielj23, but Ye's little act of heroism is just now starting to go viral.

Though most critics of Kanye peg him as unabashedly egotistical (he wrote a song about loving himself) it’s always nice to see a more caring side to the Chi-Town superstar. While the 39-year-old has always said he hates smiling, fans and paparazzi often catch him being warm and affectionate to his wife Kim Kardashian and his two children, 3-year-old North and 11-month-old Saint, these days.

While he's been on the road since August, Kanye recently extended his Life of Pablo Tour dates to end on New Years Eve in Brooklyn, N.Y.
