Kelis Demanding More Child Support from Nas

Nas has been trending lately after hitting the stage accompanied by an orchestra, The Illmatic rapper is now trending for unrelated reasons. His ex-wife Kelis claims $8K in child support per month isn't cutting it anymore.

According to TMZ, Kelis wants a judge to up monthly child support payments for their 8-year-old son Knight. It's not certain if she'll get it, but it didn't stop her from requesting it.

The "Milkshake" singer also claims their young son has different needs than 5 years back when the $8k child support order was established. Now that Nas is rolling in the doe these days, she wants more of the green stuff. What does a kid need with $8k? Seriously, I'm asking.

Kelis reportedly hasn't specified an amount, but she wants enough to cover "50% of school-related costs, %50 of child care, and 50% of unreimbursed health care", said TMZ.

Will Kelis be granted the increase in child support? We'll just have to wait and see.
