After kicking it with Reebok, it appears that Kendrick Lamar has moved on and is now joining the Nike family. On Saturday (Aug. 27), the rap superstar went on his Instagram page to announce that he’s now “Team Nike.”

The Compton rhymer was previously a brand ambassador for Reebok where he help promote their Classic Leather, Ventilator and Club C collection. However, lately, K. Dot has been seen rocking Nike Cortez sneakers on his “Damn” tour.

“Cortez. Since day one. #teamnike #TDE @nike @nikelosangeles,” he wrote in the caption of an image of him flaunting Nike’s heritage kicks.

You can expect a major announcement from Nike and Kung Fu Kenny very soon about their partnership.

Meanwhile, Kendrick is slated to perform at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. The TDE artist leads the field of nominees with eight nominations, including Artist of the Year and Video of the Year for “Humble.” The MTV VMAs will air live from Los Angeles tonight (Aug. 27) at 8PM ET.
