Kendrick Lamar Opens 2017 MTV VMAs With Scorching ‘DNA.’ and ‘HUMBLE.’ Medley [WATCH]
The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards kicked off with a bang when Kendrick Lamar opened the show. For those that may have missed Kendrick’s “DAMN.” Tour, the “Loyalty” rapper brought his show to the VMAs stage, performing “DNA” and “Humble.”
Kung Fu Kenny started his performance with DNA, turning up on the stage and two ninjas break danced next to him. The rapper’s performance then went into “Humble,” confirming rumors that fire would be involved in his performances. As K. Dot rapped, a group of ninjas scaled a wall of fire behind him.
Kendrick is nominated for a show-leading eight awards. Catch the rapper’s performance in the video above.
