Kendrick Lamar's untitled unmastered. project came as a welcome surprise last week and fans are showing their appreciation by copping the release at a high rate. According to Hits Daily Doubleuntitled unmastered. is projected to sell 175-185,000 copies in its first week.

As of now, the project is available only for streaming but TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith tweeted that they are working on a physical release. The projected first week sales pale in comparison to To Pimp a Butterfly's 324,000 copies sold, but for a surprise release that had no true promo push, the numbers are impressive and show the power that K. Dot possesses.

untitled unmastered. features production and guest spots from regular collaborators like Terrace Martin, SZA, Jay Rock, Punch, Sounwave and Thundercat and contributions from producers like Swizz Beatz, Hit-Boy, Bizness Boi, Nard&B and A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad.

Hits Daily Double is also reporting that Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz' collaborative ColleGrove project will move 55-65,000 in traditional album sales and streams. If we're going by this week's chart, the numbers will be good enough for a top-5 debut.

On this week's Billboard Top 200, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' This Unruly Mess I've Made debuted at No. 4 with 61,000 units sold. Led by their single "Downtown," which peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, This Unruly Mess I've Made sold 17,000 less in its first week than the duo's The Heist album. Thanks to the inescapable "Thrift Shop" and "Can't Hold Us," The Heist has gone platinum with 1.5 million sold.
