As previously reported rapper Kevin Gates has been in the news for all the wrong reasons these last few days.  Gates has faced wide spread criticism for kicking an 18-year old female fan in the chest at a concert in Florida recently.  Since the incident thousands of his former fans have taken to social media to sound-off on what they call unforgivable.

Yesterday, the mother of 18-year old Miranda came forward and gave more details on what happened with her daughter after she was viciously kicked.  This latest incident hasn't helped the rappers image, when it comes to being violent towards women.  In January TheBoomBox reported Gates shared a video on his Instagram, showing him knocking to mess out of his homie-lover-friend, Jhonni Blaze.  In the video Blaze, a well known stripper, is talking into a camera and clearly under the influence of something. Then outta nowhere the rapper violently strikes her in the face. It wasn't cute.

Gates is known to say just about anything, and he's constantly dropping videos on his Instagram.  Yet fans were still stunned to hear what the rapper had to say about his cousin and even more shocked by what he had to say about his dog.  Peep the video below, were Jinx from Complex News explains.

Then TMZ released a video of the Gates physically attacking a female fan at a concert in Michigan.  Later that same night the gossip site reported Gates got into a fist fight with a different women.  So, unfortunately he's building a quite the rep for himself.

As far as the latest incident in Florida, AllHipHop reports Lakeland police announced they're going to charge Gates with simple battery.  In the meantime the rapper has decided to break his silence through his new song.  He dropped a single called, "The Truth," on Twitter to tell his side of the story.   According to him, what the video doesn't show is what the female fan was grabbing prior to him kicking her.  The rapper says, he warned a couple of times before he let her have it.  Check it out below.

It looks like he's not the only one ready to talk.  The fan he kicked, 18-year old Miranda Dixon is also speaking out.  She says she still can't believe Gates kicked her and she's still in a lot of pain.  Dixon says she saved her money so she could go see her favorite rapper and though she forgives him, she's not a fan anymore.  Peep her interview with ABC Action News below.
