Keyshia Cole Being Sued By Woman She Assaulted At Birdman's Condo

Today in Tha Wire Keyshia Cole faces a lawsuit from the woman she assaulted at Birdman's crib and Solange Knowles readies to tie the knot in New Orleans.

As no surprise R&B songstress Keyshia Cole is being sued by the woman she attacked at Birdman’s condo in September. AllHipHop reports Cash Money employee, Sabrina Mercadel filed a $1 million dollar lawsuit against Ms. Cole. She is seeking additional damages as well for assault and battery, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and premises liability. The R&B diva’s lucky that’s all Mercadel wants, because she could’ve filed criminal charges against her, but decided not to.

As previously reported by TMZ, the Oak-Town songstress put her paws on Mercadel when she showed up at Birdman’s crib and seen her coming out of his bathroom. Sabrina Mercadel said the attacked was completely unprovoked and left her with deep scars to her face. Mercadel claims her relationship with Birdman is completely platonic and she’s been working for him for the past 10-years.

This will be the 2^nd marriage for Solange, whose ex is currant college football coach, Daniel Smith. Though not together, they continue to co-parent their 10-year old son Juelz.

Us Weekly has confirmed this weekend’s nuptials in New Orleans, where Solange currently lives. As a matter of fact, they have more details surrounding the event, thanks to a couple of “mysterious sources.” Their reporting the 28-year-old singer and her beau are planning a movie night and a few other events over the weekend.
