Kid Cudi went on Facebook to express how thankful he is for the support of his friends during the time that he was hospitalized for depression and suicidal thoughts. Among them were Kanye West, Travis Scott, Wiz Khalifa, producer Mike Dean and Willow Smith.

"Thank you for opening your hearts and extending your love and support during a troubling time. I wanted to let [y'all] know it meant the world to me," Cudi wrote in the Facebook post, which also mentioned several other celebrity names including Jussie Smollett and the entire Hot 97 crew.

"I have nothing but love for you," he said. "Words can't really express how much it made my heart glow. I look forward to better days. Feelin' great and brand new. Can't wait to run into each and everyone of you and deliver a big hug."

The open letter of gratitude comes at an especially noteworthy time, for Kanye West in particular, who yesterday (Nov. 21) was hospitalized after police received a medical welfare call. Cudi had joined Kanye on stage briefly a few days ago during his Saint Pablo tour stop, though the tour has since been canceled.

As for Cudi, his management team continued to new release music and videos despite his hospitalization, and upon being released, also performed with Pharrell and Travis Scott at ComplexCon.
