Kid Rock Puts Beyonce on Blast in Rolling Stone – Tha Wire

Today in Tha Wire, during a recent interview with Rolling Stone Kid Rock made it clear, he doesn't like Beyonce. Also, Fox's Empire scores top ratings again.

What's up with Kid Rock?  BET reports the rocker doesn't like R&B diva Beyonce at all. In a recent spread in Rolling Stone, the he blasted the singer saying that he's 'flabbergasted' by Beyoncé worship.

In an excerpt of the interview, Kid told Rolling Stone:

"Beyoncé, to me, doesn't have a fucking 'Purple Rain,' but she's the biggest thing on Earth. How can you be that big without at least one 'Sweet Home Alabama' or 'Old Time Rock & Roll'? People are like, 'Beyoncé's hot. Got a nice fucking ass.' I'm like, 'Cool, I like skinny white chicks with big tits.' Doesn't really fucking do much for me."

Rock's disrespectful comments about Queen Bey sent shock waves across the internet. Her Beehive fan base quickly swarmed in and went on the attack, flooding his social media pages with a few nasty comments of their own, referencing lyrics from Bey's "Bow Down" and "Flawless."

This isn't the first time Rock made reckless comments about the Carter's.  According to BET, a couple of years ago he said Jay Z and Justin's Legends of the Summer tour was "highway robbery."  Ironically the rocker and Jay were cool at one time.  You may remember the two collaborated on one of Jays biggest hits, "99 Problems."

Finally, Empire has done it again!  Fox network's crown jewel continues to make a major mark on the TV.  On top of that each time Empire airs it draws in a larger audience than the previous showing.  Entertainment Weekly reports Wednesday, the hit TV drama pulled in 13.8 million viewers among adults 18-49. That's the highest in that demo for a drama since Grey’s Anatomy in 2010.
