Kodak Black’s expected release from prison today (Aug. 17) was short-lived after police discovered that he had two outstanding warrants.

As we previously reported, Black, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, was given 12 months of house arrest and five years of probation after accepting a plea deal on his arrest of multiple charges, including robbery.

However, authorities discovered two active arrest warrants for the rapper while he was being processed for released from a Broward County jail in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. According to the Sun-Sentinel, one warrant was issued out of St. Lucie County, Florida and the other Florence, South Carolina. One of the warrants is a "no-bond hold" which will keep him in jail. No further details on those warrants were disclosed.

At Tuesday's (Aug. 17) hearing, the 19-year-old rapper was facing 55 years in prison for his alleged crimes but received a lighter sentence following glowing testimonials from supporters, including Atlantic Records executive Michael Kushner. "We considered Mr. Octave to be one of our most important signings in recent years, and we are proud to have him on our Atlantic roster," he said.

After the hearing, Kodak Black’s mom, Marcelene Octave, yelled to his son, “I love you, baby boy!” before exiting the courtroom.

Attorneys for Kodak Black had no comment on the matter.
