Today in Tha Wire, it's crazy that it's taken 30 years for rap icon/actor, LL Cool J, to just be nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It's sad, but true. TheBoomBox reports Mr. Todd Smith ,is actually the only rapper to get a nod this time around. Another shocker is that this is the first time for Rufus featuring Chaka Khan to be nominated! However, it's almost unforgivable that the incomparable Nina Simone is just being nominated. Now that's insane.

According to the rules, an artist or group can only get nominated for the famous hall if they've been in the game at least 25 years. Let's make sure LL, Rufus & Chaka, and the iconic High Priestess of Soul finally get inducted! Click here to vote for all of them now.

By the way, other nominees for the 2018 Hall of Fame class include: Bon Jovi, Kate Bush, The Cars, Depeche Mode, Dire Straits, Eurythmics, J. Geils Band, Judas Priest, MC5, The Meters, Moody Blues, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine

Finally, in a crazy turn of events, Lil Wayne is catching static from a woman claiming to be his 5th baby mama. TMZ reports a woman named Keiotia Watson filed a lawsuit against the rap superstar, trying to get child support for her son. Watson alleges she and Weezy had a sexual relationship back in June of 2001. She says she got pregnant, and gave birth to their son in February 2002.

So sure Lil Tunechi was the daddy, she named her 15-year-old son Dwayne, which is the star's real name. According to reports, Watson filed a paternity suit two years ago, trying to get child support. A Louisiana judge actually ruled in her favor, and allegedly ordered Wayne to pay $5,000 a month. Since then, the Young Money mogul hasn't paid a dime, so she filed more legal docs on the matter to try and collect.

Meanwhile, Wayne's camp is saying the star didn't pay anything because he was never served with anything. In addition, TMZ reports sources close to the rapper told them Wayne was never notified that he's allegedly the legal father of the teenager, either. Word has it Weezy's legal team is gearing up to file some legal docs of their own, were the rapper plans to take a paternity test to settle this once and for all.

Wayne's camp says if it turns out that he's the father, he doesn't have any problems with taking responsibility. We'll see what happens. I'll bring you the details whenever that goes down.
