Thanks to our buddies at Hot 107.9 in Lafayette to turning us on to this, but apparently some local musicians stayed productive during this week's winter storm.  They took Lorde's top 40 hit 'Royals' and turned it into South Louisiana's 'Sneaux Day' anthem.

The parody song is by Root Five Productions, a musical company out of Lafayette that produces songs for radio and TV.  It looks like they turned their frustration over this week's shut down into something funny -- and dammit, CATCHY, too.  (You don't even have to like 'Royals' to get it stuck in your head for a couple hours.  I think I prefer this version.)
