This Friday get ready for a night of laughter and fun with Lake City Improv. For the first time ever get ready for comedian Cocoa Brown from the hit Tyler Perry show "For Better Or For Worse" she will be in our city making you laugh for a great cause along with comedians Jeff DeRouen, Kristine Comeaux and Zack Locke.

Be listening all this week with Gina Cook and yours truly to win a pair of tickets to the comedy show as it will benefit the SLAC which is an effort to educate and inform others about HIV and AIDS. While we don't hear about AIDS as much, it is still very relevant and there are people who are living with it right here in Lake Charles. It is very smart to be aware to not only protect others, but ourselves.

The show will be this Friday night inside the Lake Charles Civic Center with doors opening up at 6 pm and the show starting around 7 pm. If you have not had a chance to check out Cocoa Brown, then you are in for a treat. Check out some of her routine from a previous performance.
