Today in Tha Wire, someone we never hear about, as far as negative chatter, super producer/rapper/actor Lil Jon is being sued for allegedly refusing pay for home renovations.  According to TMZ the King of Crunk, had his 4 bedroom home Alpharetta, Georgia remodeled shortly after purchasing the crib for $1.2 million in 2005.  He reportedly hired multiple company's to do the various repairs around the property and now comes word, he never paid for the work.

TMZ reports legal docs show Lil Jon owes $15k to Lackey Drywall, $1,050 to KLS Plumbing, and a whopping $6,743.86 to Eastern Wallboard Supply.  The three companies have filed suit and claim the Atlanta music mogul owes them a combined $22 thousand. They've also filed liens against the producer/rapper's Georgia crib.  So in the event that he doesn't cut some checks, they would get their money from of his property value.

So far Lil Jon hasn't made a comment on the matter, but his rep did.  Basically saying that Jon is aware of the situation and working to resolve the matter.  However, he's not taking responsibility for the companies not getting paid.  Jon's rep stated his famous client hired a general contractor and it was their job to hire subcontractors to perform all work and make sure they were paid for it.

An that's true.  Lil Jon is a solid businessman, so I'm more than sure he'll get this addressed.  Meanwhile for more celeb news and birthdays LISTEN LIVE to The Peoples Station 107 Jamz, at 12:50 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. every weekday.
