It looks like Lil Twist has found himself in some major trouble. This time, it's because he didn't deal with the legal issues stemming from the last time he had a run-in with the law. According to the folks at TMZ, Twist has just been arrested for failing to appear in court for his assault case.

Apparently, Twist's lawyer showed up to court, but the judge didn't think that was good enough. Twist eventually made his way to the L.A. courthouse, but by then the damage had already been done and the judge had the rapper booked and arrested for his failure to appear.

Twist's current legal battle began back in March of 2015. At the time, TMZ reported that Twist was charged with six felonies for breaking into actor Kyle Massey's house and beating up his brother Chris Massey with brass knuckles. According to the charges, Twist then pantsed Chris and robbed him of his wallet and his cellphone. At the time of the news, TMZ reported that Twist could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

Unfortunately for Twist, he's now probably a bit more famous for his lack of material and his legal issues than for his music. His career had started off on a pretty strong note, with a few appearances on 2009's We Are Young Money. In the years since, he's been arrested for a DUI and assault. We hope he can turn it around. Keep it locked with XXL for more updates on his case.
