Sometimes hopelessly weird things just happen and all you can really do is go with it. That's an idea Lil Uzi Vert took to heart when one fan hurled a Bible onstage as he performed his multi-platinum single, "XO Tour Llif3," in concert this past weekend.

Peering down at the small Bible as he clutches his microphone, it's clear that Uzi had absolutely no idea what was going on. He didn't, however, let that prevent him from performing his smash single.

In video from the incident, we can see the Philly rapper sliding across stage as he belts out the lyrics to the song. The randomness of it all and the sight of Uzi crooning a bitter breakup song while holding the sacred text actually adds a dense layer of humor to the whole thing.

While Uzi seems to have taken the Bible-throwing incident in stride, many will be puzzled as to why, exactly, someone threw it onto the stage with him to begin with. There's a chance it has something to do with the 23-year-old telling his fans they'd be going to hell with him while he performed at the 2018 Wireless Festival. Maybe it has something to do with the cover art for his upcoming Eternal Atake project, which seemingly pays homage to the Heaven's Gate suicide cult.

Uzi is currently in the midst of The Endless Summer Tour, which is a G-Eazy-led trek featuring himself, Ty Dolla $ign and more. Hopefully this is the last time he'll have to worry about a Bible being chucked in his direction.
