In other Wayne news, Lil Tunechi teamed up with celeb news blogger of KarenCivil.com and author of "Be You & Live Civil," Karen Civil, and boxer Andre Berto to spread some Christmas cheer to 500 children in Haiti Friday (December 18).

BET reports the Live Civil Christmas Giveaway, each child was given an outfit from Lil Wayne's Trukfit clothing company, the Live Civil 'Thinking Cap' Fedora hat from Civil's partnership with New Era, and a book courtesy of Scholastic Corporation.

Karen Civil is a Haitian American and is planning to build a playground for the kids back home. The 'Thinking Cap' is a way to make that dream become a reality, as 50% of proceeds will goes towards achieving her goal.  See what inspired Civil to make these special hats below.

Wayne wasn't able to make the trip to Haiti Friday, but took time out to tell DX Daily why he joined the initiative saying, "A lot of people tend to forget about those who are less fortunate during the holiday season," the rapper said. "Not many understand how receiving just one item could bring so much joy to a child’s life, especially if they don’t have the same everyday luxuries that the more fortunate tend to overlook. I’m just grateful to be able to give back to Haiti in any way possible."

Berto, also of Haitian descent, dressed up as Santa Claus for the children and then passed out toys.  Peep more details about the special trip to Haiti, Wayne's concert and much more courtesy of DX Daily:
