Just in time for the Fourth of July weekend, Lil Wayne delivers his long awaited project Free Weezy Album (FWA), exclusively on TIDAL of which he’s a co-owner.

It’s no coincidence that Tunechi released his album on the day America celebrates independence and freedom. The Young Money is currently in a $51 million legal battle with Cash Money Records with the hopes of being freed from his contractual obligations to Birdman.

The 15-song collection boasts the previously released single “Glory,” plus guest features from Wiz Khalifa, Cory Gunz, Jeezy and Junior Reid. On the production tip, Cool & Dre, Kane Beatz, Infamous, London and others provided Weezy with beats.

Rapper Young Thug was supposed to drop his Slime Season mixtape today as well but announced on his Twitter that he was postponing the release.

So for now, it all about Weezy and his FWA project. This should hold fans down until Lil Wayne is able to release his full-length album, Tha Carter V.

To download and stream Wayne's Free Weezy Album, you must subscribe to TIDAL.
