On the heals of George Zimmerman's "Not Guilty" verdict for the death of Trayvon Martin, Lil Wayne releases a somewhat touching and thought provoking video for "God Bless Amerika," from his latest album, "I Am Not a Human Being II."

Shot in the Hollygrove neighborhood of New Orleans, where Lil Wayne grew up, the video show cases dilapidated homes that still stand from the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The video reminds us all just how much the American government has failed us over the years, especially in impoverished communities.

The video is already gaining criticism for an assortment of reasons. Watch the video for yourself and let us know what you think about it.
