Apparently Lil Wayne has a plan on how long he will be performing and doing hip hop in the studio.

In a recent interview with Hot 97's Angie Martinez, the 13-year rap vet revealed why he will call it quits saying, “This is what happens when you work very, very hard. People think that when you say you work hard, they think you put two extra hours in. This is my life,” says Weezy. “That's why retiring at 35 would be a life lived, because this music thing is my life. So retiring at 35 would be enough. I'm 28.” Weezy went on explain that even though he knows the bright lights of the industry will be hard to walk away from, he will stand firm in his commitment to give up the mic. “This is a solid plan and I'll stick with my plans. I'ma be a dad,” he confirmed, adding that he is through baby making for the time being. “No! I'm good. I have four. I'm good.” Wayne is currently on the nationwide I Am Still Muisc II tour, featuring Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Travis Barker and is releasing his long-awaited album The Carter IV on May 16.

Obviously this information did ring well with Birdman, being that he is still rapping and doesn't plan to stop anytime soon.
