Unfortunately the young Ms. Carter is dealing with woes of being famous, after a video capturing her BFF being attacked went viral this week.  The young star and her BFF have been scouting out various HBCU’s to attend following their high school graduations. Sadly things went very wrong on Wednesday this week, while the two were visiting Clark Atlanta University.

Reginae and Lourdes were apparently taking a campus visit and considering the HBCU, to further their higher learning.  HipHollywood reports a group of woman approached the two besties and, for some reason they all got into some sort of verbal altercation.

It’s really not clear why or what exactly caused the animosity, but things got physical real quick.  BET reports Lourdes and Reginae were in the process of leaving the campus when one of the woman grabbed Lourdes by her sweater.  That’s when all hell broke loose, fights went flying, hair was flying, and the ladies found themselves in the middle of an all out brawl.  You already know, when things get poppin’, we get our cameras out!

Reginae did the only thing a real friend would do, she tried to protect her friend.  Matter of fact a few people, jumped in to stop the attack.  Crazy….  Early reports on the incident suggested Reginae was jumped and was also dealing with being bullied.  Weezy’s baby girl was quick to clear that up and took to Twitter responding simply,

As for the fight, there’s been no word on who the group of girls were.  Not sure if any charges will come from this or not either.  Hopefully the entire incident is squashed and everybody moves on.  Keep you posted though.  Meanwhile for all things entertainment, get with Tha Wire every weekday to stay in the know and only on The People’s Station 107 Jamz.
