Lil Webbie Arrested And Charged With Battery And Robbery — Tha Wire

Rapper Lil Webbie was arrested and charged with battery and robbery Thursday at approximately 2:30 a.m.


According to police Webbie was involved in attacking a woman and then robbing her.  The woman has pressed charges against the rapper and the incident is currently under investigation.  Find out what happened and what Webbie himself had to say about the issue.

In more news, last year Nas was booked to do a show in Angola.  He was given a retainer of $300,000 for the show, with the understanding the he would perform on the scheduled date.  The show was booked through a American based company that worked closely with the African company that paid Nas to appear.  But that’s just it, Nas was a no show.  His camp said they had concerns for his safety and ultimately decided, it wasn’t a good idea for him to go.  However, he was slow in returning the $300 K.
