It's that time again for the annual Lake Charles Mardi Gras Chicken Run and it all goes down this weekend in Lake Charles. All of the fun kicks off this Saturday Night with Lil Nate and the Zydeco Big Timers and Chris Ardoin and Zydeco Nu Step performing live at the KPC Hall.

Then Sunday that's where all of the fun will be going down kicking off that morning with the Creole parade kicking off at noon. Make sure you scroll down below for the actual parade route. Later that evening get ready for a big show to take place with Keith Frank, J Paul and Chris Ardoin performing live at the Lake Charles Civic Center. This is going to be one for the books and the entire city will be in the building this weekend. Keep it locked for your time to call and win tickets here all week so you can get in on the fun.

The Parade route for the Creole Parade:

The parade leaves the LC Civic Center and goes down Lakeshore Drive to Pryce Street, then to Enterprise BLVD on to Opelousas Street to Simmons Street. Then it goes to Fitzenreiter Road to the Fitzenreiter Road Boat Launch. Once it leaves the boat Launch, it goes down Goos Blvd to Opelousas Street, then to Enterprise Blvd, next to Pine Street and Lakeshore Drive and  back to the Civic Center where all of the fun begins.
