"We ain't got much to do like New Orleans, so, our activity is to, you know, kill", are the words spoken by a man in the video above in reference to the rise in violence in a Louisiana community.

I'm not sure what city this took place in, but it troubles me that the young man's statements are somewhat true. I don't think that he meant he was himself was killing, but speaking that for African American males in Louisiana who live in those "urban" areas, they don't have any activities or things to pass time the way they do in more affluent communities.

It's a loaded statement that I think should not be taken lightly. There's a reason the crime rate in this state is so high, and it begins with opportunity and the lack thereof, especially in predominantly black communities.
