Love & Hip Hop Atlanta never disappoints when it comes to the surprises so dropping a new episode a day earlier than it's regularly scheduled Monday nights should've been expected. That's just what happens this week in a special Sunday night episode of the reality show.

Things kick off with Joseline Hernandez's release party for her new music video. Mimi Faust and her girlfriend, Chris, are in attendance, but the festivities have already started off on a brisk note. Joseline pokes at Chris by alluding to the threesome that herself, Mimi and Stevie J had in the past. Mimi reveals Karlie Redd's accusations of Joseline to blackmail her, which Joseline denies, but Mimi doesn't buy it. She feels that Karlie was telling the truth about Joseline's tactics. Stevie J and Chris seem to hit it off at first, until he calls Chris beautiful, which Mimi warns him not to do. Stevie J then begins to talk dirty to Chris, who feels uncomfortable with Stevie J's innuendo.

Scrapp, who is also at the party, promises to keep things respectful and not make a scene over Joseline's comments, but has a change of heart at the last minute. Confronting Joseline about spreading information about him and his alleged secret girlfriend, Scrapp is visibly infuriated, but Joseline is not done stirring the pot. She also drops the bomb that Stevie J and his mother KK King had a sexual relationship, which rubs Scrapp the wrong way and further taints his view of Joseline.

All of the attendees get a surprise when Dawn, who was thought to be at odds with Mimi, shows up as a guest, adding an unexpected twist to the Puerto Rican Princess' plot. Tommie, who has taken issue with Dawn spreading rumors about her, almost gets physical with her before being escorted out by Scrapp.

He leaves the party with his brother Sass and calls up Stevie J to discuss what Joseline just dropped on him. Stevie J denies he ever had sex with KK and maintains that he would never cross that line -- the rumors Joseline is spewing hold no weight. Scrapp and Sass explain that they don't want to disrespect Joseline and ruin their relationship with Stevie J, but maintain that her antics cannot be tolerated. It's up to Stevie to rectify the situation.

Stevie says he's not fond of Jessica and thinks that Joseline inviting her to the party wasn't a good look. He also brings up Joseline's accusation that he slept with KK and wants Joseline to apologize to Scrapp and Sass to set the record straight. She refuses to retract her statements and shows little regard for the feelings of the King family, setting the stage for a confrontation between the two parties down the line.

The King family comes together to celebrate deceased Atlanta rapper Dolla's birthday and KK puts her issues with Scrapp aside to visit Dolla's grave for the first time after his death. She's visibly distraught and Scrapp comforts his mother with a warm embrace. The two reconcile with each other, putting to rest their family dysfunction.

Tammy and Bambi, Scrappy's ex-girlfriend, are also in attendance at the party. Bambi says that although her and Scrappy have been broken up, she's had thoughts of getting back together. However, the situation with Betty Idol has put a chance at reconciliation in jeopardy to say the least. Waka Flocka shows up with his artist, Chaz Gotti, who impresses Bambi with his demeanor and how he balances his relationships with his baby mothers and the women he dates.

Rasheeda Frost says that things at her shop have been improving, but Kelsey is still disgruntled about her parent's lukewarm reception to her performance. Rasheeda also discusses Scrappy and Kirk's reconciliation and asks her mother to make amends with Momma Dee, but mom refuses to do so. She contends that Momma Dee needs to get help for her mood swings.

On the flip side, Momma Dee and her Ernest's marriage is beginning to get tense due to his lack of financial assistance with the bills. Ernest argues that he's trying his best to provide for the family and thinks that Momma Dee is being too hard on him, but she maintains her position, putting into question the future of their union.

Tammy, Rasheeda and Deb Antney meet to catch up on things. Deb is concerned about Chaz's dealings with Bambi due to her past relationship with Scrappy. She doesn't want her son to be caught in the middle of a love triangle. Rasheeda prefers to stay neutral in the situation to not offend any of the parties.

A sit-down between Rasheeda's mother and Momma Dee happens, but only by tricking them into the meeting under the guise of a mother's brunch. After realizing that the brunch was just a plot to get her at the table, Rasheeda's mother and Momma Dee begin to hash out their differences. Things get off to a rocky start when Momma Dee brings up Deb being at Scrappy's court date and not Rasheeda or her mother. All of the parties begin to argue and Rasheeda says that Momma Dee is not taking responsibility for her actions. But Scrappy gets upset after learning that Bambi went on a date with Chaz Gotti and that Rasheeda knew, but didn't inform him of that tidbit. Scrappy, Momma Dee and Ernest exit the meeting without a resolution to their issues, putting their respective friendships on shaky ground. Stay tuned until next week.
