If you've got to over pay for a ticket to a college football game, this is one of the few games I would over pay to see. As far as LSU fans and fans of the Crimson Tide are concerned if the world came to an end next week it would be the second biggest story compared to the football battle that is shaping up in Tuscaloosa next Saturday.

LSU is undefeated and features the premiere running back in all of college football, Leonard Fournette. Alabama is a perennial college football power and is coached by Nick Saban, the former head man at LSU. There is a lot of genuine dislike between the fan bases of these two schools and each of those fan bases delights in beating the other.

If you want to see the game and don't already have a ticket you'd better get out your gold card because even the cheap seats aint cheap. According to Stub Hub with a week to go before game time the cheapest seat in the stadium is $195. That seat is in the end zone upper level.

Some die hard fans have already paid as much as $1,000 for the privilege of securing seats closer to the field. Officials with Stub Hub are speculating those prices will go even higher as game time approaches next Saturday night.

Kickoff between LSU and Alabama is set for 7pm in Tuscaloosa. The game will be televised nationally on CBS .
