Yesterday evening the LSU Tigers hosted the Tennessee Volunteers in the final game of a three game series.  The Tigers had already beat Tennessee on Friday and Saturday and was looking for the sweep in the series.

The win wasn't looking likely as the LSU Tigers enter the 9th inning down 7-3.  LSU put their rally caps on and scored 6th runs in the 9th inning including a walk off three run home run from Freshman Daniel Cabrera to win 9-7.

The win also scored head baseball coach for LSU his 1400th win in his baseball career.

The Tigers are currently on a four game winnings streak and will look to stay on the winning ways this week as they hit the road for four games.

First up this week for LSU is a game in New Orleans against Tulane on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.  Then they will travel to Columbia, South Carolina to take on the Game Cocks for a three game series starting Friday night.
