Yahoo News reports, 20-year old Jeffrey Williams is custody and has been charged in connection with the recent shooting in Ferguson, that left two police officers injured.  St. Louis County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch said Williams claimed he wasn't shooting at the officers, but someone he had beef with amongst the protesters.  McCulloch said of his story, "We're not sure we completely buy that part of it."  Both officers are expected to make full recoveries.

Williams has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault, one count of firing a weapon from a vehicle and three counts of armed criminal action. He shot the officers during a recent demonstration in Ferguson after the Justice Department report revealed widespread racial bias in the police department.

Though an investigation continues, McCulloch said tips from the public led to Williams arrest and that empty shell casings found at the scene, match his handgun.  St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar said Williams is being held on $300,000 bond.
