Man Shot In The Parking Lot After Shootout At T.I.'s Restaurant In Atlanta

According to TMZ a man was shot and arrested after a verbal confrontation turned violent at T.I.'s new soul food restaurant, Scales 925, in Atlanta. TIps new spot is no ordinary eatery. It's an upscale entertainment joint were the stars frequent with fine culinary dishes served and world class spirits to sip on.

Unfortunately, the classy soul food restaurant was the scene of a shootout thanks to a few rowdy customers. TMZ reports it all went down Sunday night after a group of 5 to 6 men started arguing on an upper deck patio. Restaurant staff asked the men to leave and called police when they continued their confrontation in the parking lot.

Police say the fight resulted in one man being shot in the leg. Witnesses said the victim left the scene with another man in a Porsche. Authorities found the vehicle and pulled it over. The victim was still in the car bleeding, but getting shot wasn't the guys only problem. Turns out he had a duffle bag of 240 grams of marijuana and roughly $6 grand in cash. So, he ended up being booked for reckless conduct and possession.

Meanwhile, the victim claims he didn't know the shooter and police are still searching for the suspect. Luckily the entire incident was caught on the restaurants surveillance cameras and police are using the film as part of their investigation.
