Mariah Carey Is Ready To Drop Her New Album — Tha Wire

Mariah Carey is getting ready to turn things up.  She recently quit her new day job on American Idol so she can focus on her music career.  Now, it's full steam ahead as Mimi is gearing up for a new album and world tour.

Though there’s still no tittle just yet, Mariah Carey has announced the release date for her new album on Twitter Wednesday.  Mimi tweeted to her fans,

As for the album, no additional info is available other than it’s lead off single being a bonafide hit.  Beautiful feat. Miguel is currently No. 17 on Billboard and will more than likely crack the top ten 10 next week.  So, she’s definitely off to a good start.

In other news, sadly Michael Jackson’s baby girl Paris Jackson, was hospitalized early Wednesday morning (June 5) after attempting suicide.  Her mother, Debbie Rowe, confirmed the 15-year-old did make an attempt on her own life and is currently recovering at an undisclosed hospital in L.A.

TMZ reports, a 911 call came at about 1 in the morning from the family home.   Reports are still a bit sketchy, but some are saying that Paris may have cut her wrists, while other are reporting that the call was for a “possible pill overdose.” She left a suicide note, but it’s unclear what she wrote at this time.

Before her suicide attempt, Paris went on Twitter and tweeted a line from the Beatles song ‘Yesterday,’ “Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they’re here to stay.”  An hour before that, she tweeted, “i wonder why tears are salty?”

This incident comes at a bad time for the Jackson family, as they are currently dealing with Michaels wrongful-death case against tour promoters AEG, new molestation charges and the 4^th anniversary of Michael death is coming up on the 25th.
