Mariah Carey is gearing up to make a huge return to music and the stage in May.  In case you haven't heard MiMi is going to be the newest resident artist in Las Vegas.  The songstress will perform 18 live shows at the Caesars Palace Colosseum from May 6 - July 26th.  Tickets are running $108, to about $811 a piece.

Leading up to her grand entrance, BET reports the diva with will be the guest of honor at a special “welcome celebration” next Monday (April 27) at Caesars Palace beginning at 6 p.m.  On that same day we'll get a chance to hear her new single, "Infinity" as well.

Mariah Carey fans are gonna be in a frenzy this year, as the superstar singer will be giving us more than we could've asked for.  And by the way, "18" is the magic number!  In addition to her residency in Sin City, Mariah will drop her new album “Mariah #1 to Infinity” May 18th.  The album is comprised of 18 number one hits like "Dream Lover", "Fantasy", "Hero" and more.  Plus, the new single "Infinity."

Finally according to BET, the drama continues to fester between Lil Wayne and Young Thug.  It all started when the Rich Gang MC said he was naming his forth coming mixtape, "Tha Carter 6."  Lil Wayne didn't take the gesture as a compliment either and he let it be known during his Release Partiez club tour, in more ways than one.  By the way, Waynes response may of had something to do with Thug's mixtape cover, which displayed "Carter 6" in his private area.

For about a second it looked like Young Thug was being misunderstood.  However when the rapper put a video out on his Instagram, filled with subtle...but side-ways comments.  It was clear he was intentionally dissing Wayne.

Wayne isn't buying Thugs back-handed compliments and continues to diss the young rapper at his various live shows.  Thug has since changed his idol tune and the name of his mixtape.  The MC knew he would have a lawsuit on his hands, so he did the right thing for his bank account and changed the tittle of his mixtape to "Barter 6."  He also has continues his social medial verbal assaults on Lil Wayne as well.

“Can’t name the mixtape Carter 6 because these f—k ass n——s tryin’ to sue just like some hoes,” Thug said in the Instagram video.. “Big ol’ Blood so…Barter 6 on the f—in’ way.”

Just when it looked as if Weezy and Baby kinda worked things out, with Wayne dropping his lawsuit.  It appears, nothing is worked-out.  An for some reason Young Thug's putting himself in the middle of the father and son beef between Weezy and Birdman as the wedge continues to widen between Young Money and Cash Money.

It's unfortunate, cause this is really getting nasty.

Speaking of which, over the weekend, sure to add more fuel to the fire, Young Thug held a listening party for the first single off the "Barter 6" project, "Constantly Hating," featuring Birdman in Weezy’s home turf Hollygrove, New Orleans.
