It was early May when Mariah Carey dropped her new single ‘Beautiful’ feat. Miguel.  Ever since then, fans have been eagerly anticipating MiMi’s next album.  Well, thankfully we won’t have to wait too much longer.  Yesterday, Mariah announced on Facebook that her upcoming 14th studio album is not only on the way, but she’s gearing up to drop another single.  The songstress announced her next single titled ‘The Art of Letting Go, is coming out next month.

FYI, part of the delay on Mariah’s album is the fact that she’s been recovering from a dislocated shoulder injury that happened during a video shoot earlier this year.  It was a freak accident, but non-the-less serious enough to rush her to the hospital.

On top of dislocation, the 43-year old singer also chipped her shoulder bone in the process.  That’s behind her now and she’s ready to get back to work, posting on her site, “I’m so happy to be able to catch up with everybody here on Facebook.  The last three months of my life have not been easy. Getting through this injury has been the toughest experience of my life.  It took me three months to get to this point but thank God I was able to recover and get my arm back.”

Welcome back Mariah!  Listen to Tha Wire below and find out when MiMi's gonna drop her new single.

In other news, Brooklyn rapper Maino was arrested in New York City a few weeks ago after being pulled over by police for driving a vehicle without a front license plate. TMZ got ahold to the story and reports that after the stop, officers discovered his driver’s license was suspended, and that’s what basically got him locked-up.

Maino is said to have pled guilty to the charges and paid a fine.  Since the incident, the rapper says that his driver’s license was returned.  However, ever since the September 25th incident, he still refuses to put a front license on his 2008 Bentley because he doesn’t want to drill any holes in the car.

On a much brighter note for you Maino fans, he just released his new single get more details below with Tha Wire.
